Coasters made out of pressed recycled paper.
Available in following sizes: 10x10 cm. and 21x21 cm.
Paper is a specialty of the Vietnamese productgroup Hien situated in Ho Chi Minh. This predominantly female group has been initiated by artisans and students. Together with the designers of Fair Trade Original they have designed these products.
Unsuitable paper is used to make long strips that are then soaked in glue. These strips are then craftfully rotated by the women to achieve the desired shape.
